SCENES FROM THE PRINT

The Avengers made their debut in print 60 years ago, when Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created The Avengers #1 comic in September 1963 - labeling this all-star group as “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!”

We featured everyone’s favorite founding members from the 2012 film – Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye and some newcomers like Ant-Man, Falcon, and Vision all together in a spectacular hand-drawn print.

CREATING THE PRINT

Our artists pulled inspiration from the classic Avengers comics from their own collection, intermixed with modern references from the expansive Marvel archive to create this design. All of the scenes were drawn by hand and digitally painted to bring everything together in a subtle and impactful way.
